Speed Alerts
A speed alert is triggered when a device exceeds a specific speed limit set by the user during a reporting period. If the device exceeds the preset speed, the user will receive a message similar to the following.
In this instance the device exceeded the preset speed limit of 45 MPH. The message contains the time and date of the violation, the device's API key id, the device name, reported speed, reverse geo-coded address of where the speed was exceeded, and the device's latitude and longitude.
There is also a link that may be clicked to login to the user's account.
If configured, the system may also send an SMS (text message) with similar information.
