Map Settings

The Map Settings tab allows the user to set preferences that are used by the map page when displaying objects to be tracked. An example of the Map Settings tab is displayed below.

The user may modify the following settings:

•Home Latitude - Represents the latitude of the map when it is first displayed. The map will center on the latitude represented here.

•Home Longitude - Represents the longitude of the map when it is first displayed. The map will center on the longitude represented here.

•Zoom Level - The zoom level initially set by the map display when it is first displayed. The user may modify the zoom level of the map at anytime.

•Unit of Measure - The unit of measure (either English or Metric) used when displaying or calculating distance, speed or other values.
